Know Your True Spirit

Know Your True Spirit “That game system is not your life. You’re going to live without it.” “I have to have a phone. It’s my only means of communication!” “Watching TV seems to be the only thing that is important to you.” We can mindlessly grasp on to forms of activities that take away from being connected with others. We may be losing important communication abilities and interaction competence by not connecting with each other face to face without distractions. Make it an important part of your day to regularly spend meaningful time conversing with a loved one, friend or stranger. Make efforts to maintain a healthy equilibrium in your relationships, entertainment and work. Turn off your phones, laptops and busy minds so that when you are with others your attention will be undivided. There are many people who need your prayers, a healing face to face visit, and a helping hand. Go to them with kindness, generosity and love in your heart. There is no greater joy than to know your true spirit, with no baggage weighing you down, no attachments to emotionless material things. Spend precious time with the gift of humanity that God gave you for the fulfillment of your life. Mark 6:7-13 Jesus called the twelve and began to send them out two by two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits. He ordered them to take nothing for their journey except a staff; no bread, no bag, no money in their belts; but to wear sandals and not to put on two tunics. He said to them, "Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave the place. If any place will not welcome you and they refuse to hear you, as you leave, shake off the dust that is on your feet as a testimony against them." So they went out and proclaimed that all should repent. They cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them
