Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

Mirror, Mirror On the Wall Looking in the mirror will reveal our looks, weariness, history, feelings and hopes. When another looks at us what do they see? When God looks into our spirit what is revealed to Him? If in the past we have loaded people with burdens hard to bear, we can now lift a finger to ease them. If we have hung on tight to our abundance, we can now give freely to another in need. If we have held grievances in our hearts, we can now forgive them. We are all created by God and are made in His image. Let us turn away from our old selves, and now act like children of The Most High. We are a reflection of whom we spend time with. Let us give no one reason to doubt that The Holy Spirit lives inside us. May all our lives emulate a life filled with holy desires and generous deeds. Mirror, mirror on the wall, may today you reflect a spirit that has grown leaps and bounds over yesterday. Luke 11:42-46 'But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and herbs of all kinds, and neglect justice and the love of God; it is these you ought to have practised, without neglecting the others. Woe to you Pharisees! For you love to have the seat of honour in the synagogues and to be greeted with respect in the market-places. Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, and people walk over them without realizing it.' One of the lawyers answered him, 'Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us too.' And he said, 'Woe also to you lawyers! For you load people with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not lift a finger to ease them.
