My Personal Perpetual Prayer

Thank You dear God that I am blessed
with this divine day to honor You,
the all-powerful, all-knowing
creator of the universe.

You have bestowed upon me
the gift of life and time today
to be among my family and friends.

My choices in life are not perfect
and neither am I,
but for me, You forgive and provide
with unending love that carries me.

I may have illnesses and worries
that affect my body and attitude
and evil occupies me unnecessarily,
but I am confident as I draw nearer to You
I will be healed in body and spirit
and will be able to free myself
from undue worry and make room for fulfilling
and life changing promotions to come
provided through Your love, mercy and glory!

It is a delightful day to be alive
and I will go out eagerly
to love my fellow man.
With a sincere heart and patience
granted through Your unending graces
I will lovingly care for family and friends,
co-workers and neighbors,
and will, of my own accord,
enthusiastically respond with genuine concern
to the needs and well being of strangers.

Liberate my heart Lord
with boundless opportunities
for virtuous interactions,
thoughtful acts of kindnesses,
and productive and fruitful deeds
that will boldly connect me with others,
for every man, woman and child
deserve recognition and respect,
and above all are worthy of the same
unconditional love we receive from You.

I will begin by extending my obedient hands
in pleasant and joyful greetings
to all who pass or stand near me,
and I will offer a heartfelt smile
with every hello and goodbye
even if my good intentions
are rejected by others.

Release my chained hardened heart
to discharge others from my cruel
and deliberate judgment
and I pray for exceptional pardon by all
that I may unknowingly offend.

I call upon You to soften our hearts
so that we may become God loving people
in a world that is insolent only because
we are devastatingly naïve to Your word.

I ask that You continue to work
on me, in me, and through me
to be a pleasing influential ambassador
and a humble model leader for You.

I shall use my God given gifts
to help and arouse others to join me
in this moving personal awakening.
I will live today to the fullest
to increase my faith,
shape my spiritual life,
and rouse myself and aspire to be
a humble model of You.
I ask these things in Your name.
