Tis the Season
The aroma of turkey fills the house and delectable desserts are abundant. Joyful holiday music makes for jolly attitudes and tasks seem easier. People shop for the perfect gift.
In the Catholic Church the start of the Advent Season begins this Sunday. Use these days that lead up to Christmas to recall what Jesus came here to do for you. Include Him in your thoughts and plans. After all, it’s all about Him!
Enjoy quiet prayerful moments. Worship in Church and spend time with family, friends, the sick and the lonely.
God’s love for you is absolute. He proved His love by giving His Only Son for You. He is present at every straight and treacherous turn, in every surprise and roadblock, at live savings and life taking moments. As sure as the sun will rise, the moon will shine, and the earth will produce food and water, God will be there.
Look for Him, He’s everywhere. Feel His love, it’s always protecting you. Take His hand, He’s always leading you.
There is so much to be thankful for. The Lord knows, “I am thankful that you do not reject the words that come to me from Him. God bless you.

Then Jesus told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees; as soon as they sprout leaves you can see for yourselves and know that summer is already near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.”
