You’re a Superstar!
“I wouldn’t know what to say. I want to help her, but I know nothing about these kinds of things.” “I can’t come to his defense although I know he’s right. It’s pitiful, I know. But I’m afraid of making others angry.”
We hide behind excuses and impose unnecessary pressure on ourselves while disappointing others for the wrong reasons. Stand up to a good and moral challenge and buck up when someone desperately needs your help. The rights words will come when your heart is in the right place. This is no rehearsal, you are always in the spotlight. Be an extraordinary superstar!
Inspired by Luke 21:12-19
Jesus said to his disciples, “But before all this occurs, they will arrest you and persecute you; they will hand you over to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors because of my name. This will give you an opportunity to testify. So make up your minds not to prepare your defense in advance; for I will give you words and wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to withstand or contradict. You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, by relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. You will be hated by all because of my name. But not a hair on your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your souls.”
