The Gift of Love

Will it be: “I know I have family and friends, but I feel so alone.” Or: When I take the focus off myself the gift of the love penetrates my heart and I smile again."

The gift of love is only a gift if it’s offered and accepted. Acknowledge God’s love for you and then share it. The world may not be in your corner today, but God is.

Inspired by John 8:28-30

Jesus said to the Jews, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own, but I speak these things as the Father instructed me. And the one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him.” As he was saying these things, many believed in him.

I said a prayer for you today and I know God must have heard,
I felt the answer in my heart although He spoke no word.

I didn’t ask for wealth or fame (I knew you wouldn’t mind),
I asked Him to send treasures of a far more lasting kind.

I asked that He’d be near you at the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings and friends to share your way.

Counting Our Blessings

We have all been blessed with many talents, capable bodies and minds to accomplish great things. We all possess a gift from God, a heart that is alive, and is being nourished by our attitudes, exercise and food. Take care of your special heart for it supports your body, the temple, insist on moving it to improve strength and body functions, and nourish your blood and veins with food that promotes optimal health. Listen to spirit filled music that is motivating, read inspirational books, and open the bible to obtain words to live by. The end result: A healthy mind and praiseworthy attitude. What a gift!
