Share Words That Exalt Our Blessings

Share Words That Exalt Our Blessings “I can’t believe you told him. I shared that with you in confidence!” There are times that we mistakenly reveal our own secrets or that which was told to us in confidence. Even if the talk is good there are matters that should be honored and kept personal for those involved and reserved for the respect of another’s confidence, only to be shared if they wish. There are many blessings that we might choose to keep to ourselves to remain humble in spirit and others that should be shouted from the rooftop. The “gift of gab” is to know wholeheartedly and without hesitation the difference between gossip that is self-serving and that which is to edify the knowledge of the gift of the presence of God in our lives. Luke 5:12-16 Once, when he was in one of the cities, there was a man covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you choose, you can make me clean." Then Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, "I do choose. Be made clean." Immediately the leprosy left him. And he ordered him to tell no one. "Go," he said, "and show yourself to the priest, and, as Moses commanded, make an offering for your cleansing, for a testimony to them." But now more than ever the word about Jesus spread abroad; many crowds would gather to hear him and to be cured of their diseases. But he would withdraw to deserted places and pray.
