Celebrate In The Dark or Daylight

Celebrate In The Dark or Daylight “You deserve what you put out! And you made her miserable. Live in your misery!” “I’m not responsible for her happiness. Why should I go out of my way to talk to her? She should come to me.” “I did what I thought was right. I can sleep at night.” Can you live with being unpopular because of your faith and still enjoy who you are? Can you successfully interact with others and go against much of what they do? Can you believe in and love Jesus and still support the faithless? Listen to and observe the people in your closest circles. Offer praise to others when they display virtues that resemble Christ. Refuse to spend time with those who repeatedly object to your goodness, are jealous of your charity, and who are against speaking of Jesus, the Son of God. Take delight in being forgiving, merciful, humble, and a peacemaker. Treasure your faith when you lack spirit, mourn, and when you are hungry for more than any one human being can give you. When you are well or being persecuted, go to your mountain to be blessed and comforted. Seek often quiet moments in your day and hear Jesus speak to you with the same words that have not changed in over 2000 years. Rejoice in who you are becoming, be glad for those righteous and holy people who have lived and shown the way before you. Even when faced with the darkest moments of your life, you can with hope, love and confidence celebrate the opportunities to glorify God, for Jesus proved that your reward is great in heaven. Matthew 5:1-12 When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain; and after he sat down, his disciples came to him. Then he began to speak, and taught them, saying: ‘Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ‘Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. ‘Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. ‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. ‘Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy. ‘Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. ‘Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ‘Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
