Your Stepping Stone

Your Stepping Stone “I can’t believe you did that again! You are useless.” “It beats me why you think the way you do! I can’t help you anyone!” “I cringe every time I see her. It’s like I’m always preparing to defend myself!” Our design is not to rob, tear down, or break one another’s spirit, but rather to nurture, teach and enrich it. The actions of others may not make sense to us, but there is a reason, hidden or revealed, that reared it. Take time to observe the energy in a home, the short temper of the irate, the laziness of the depressed, the sensitivity of the loner, the boldness of the insecure, and the rudeness of the hurting. We seem to readily respond, teach and reprimand with our heated, elevated and piercing vast array of emotions. The divine spirit that lives in us cannot be raised to its greatest potential without exercising our greatest assets. With consistency be forgiving so that the heart will not harden. With steadiness impart compassion so that the soul will stay empathetic. With faithfulness remain tolerant so that the spirit will not grow weary. With hope stay invested in trust of the Lord. Jesus did not give up on the world when it humiliated, scorned, crucified, mocked and killed him. He fulfilled his destiny by obedience to God’s commandments and rejected all that could lead him astray. Every day we have many temptations that can lead us to earthly self-centered delights that may deprive us of heavenly paradise. How you think, the words you utter, and the actions you take will always say much about what an individual offers to the world. How you love, teach faithfulness and encourage peace and hope will say much about what you offer to the great Kingdom of Heaven. A word to the wise, remain insightful to what Jesus can see. He, who is all knowing and discerning, desires to call you great in the Kingdom of Heaven. Earth is just your stepping stone to greatness. Matthew 5: 17-19 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
