Deeds Are Telling

Deeds Are Telling What we do our children will imitate. We should not be quick to reprimand, but rather use that special moment of realization to look truthfully in the mirror. Rather than finding fault, look for the good in others. Instead of tearing down a spirit, be the one to lift it. Rather than being the one to point a negative finger, use your hands to do positive work. The depth of your wisdom, faith and character is vindicated by all your deeds. What you do sets the tone, path and legacy for your family and generations to come. If Jesus were standing before you, what or whom might he compare you to. Your deeds are telling of who you are. Luke 7:31-35 Jesus said, 'To what then will I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like? They are like children sitting in the market-place and calling to one another, "We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we wailed, and you did not weep." For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, "He has a demon"; the Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, "Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax-collectors and sinners!" Nevertheless, wisdom is vindicated by all her children.'
