Heaven on Earth
“What do you want from life?” Is that really the most important question we can ask ourselves? “What do you have already,” would be the more appropriate question to ponder. ‘Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
As often as you can, spend quiet and quality time in prayer. Ask God to work through you so that you may be a part of revealing glimpses of heaven on earth. Enjoy the peace when you rest and celebrate with God and all the angels in heaven as you bring breaths of hope into the world. God is setting a place for you. Why wouldn’t you make heaven your daily aspiration?
Inspired by Luke 11:1-4
Jesus was praying in a certain place, and after he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “when you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us. And do not bring us to the time of trial.
