I Am Alive!

I Am Alive!

“Wanted dead or alive.” A great line from an old western movie. Don’t wait until the final scene to know the end of your story. Make each day a worthy frame of your faith, each conversation a wonderful crescendo and passage to the next, each night’s sleep a refreshing new beginning. Don’t just act in the film of your life. The character you betray should be genuine on and off camera. Be found alive with the spirit of God in your heart. Honor each other and be a part of justice. Live each day with these things so that the end will not be a surprise but rather expect an award in your name!

Inspired by Luke 11:42-46

But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and herbs of all kinds, and neglect justice and the love of God; it is these you ought to have practiced, without neglecting the others. Woe to you Pharisees! For you love to have the seat of honor in the synagogues and to be greeted with respect in the market-places. Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, and people walk over them without realizing it.” One of the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us too.” And he said, “Woe also to you lawyers! For you load people with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not lift a finger to ease them.”
