Reaching Out

Reaching Out “I don’t want to be here anymore! I do well all the time, but all you do is pay attention to the one who is trouble!” Jesus teaches us that He was sent only to the lost sheep. “The well,” seem to require less of His mercy, healing and help but not less of His love. When you live with the heart of God, the eyes of Jesus, and the strength of The Holy Spirit there is no room for jealousy or competition. Be confident in who you are and what you do. Spend time praising the good in everyone and encourage them to be of service to others. Where you see need harden not your heart, but rather be understanding, thoughtful, supportive, and compassionate. Everyone is worthy of God’s love and blessings, even those who seem the most unworthy. God invites everyone to the banquet. Sit in the chair, and view yourself as His gracious co-host. When you realize your special position in life you too will reach out to the lost. Matthew 15:21-28 Jesus left that place and went away to the district of Tyre and Sidon. Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came out and started shouting, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is tormented by a demon." But he did not answer her at all. And his disciples came and urged him, saying, "Send her away, for she keeps shouting after us." He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." But she came and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, help me." He answered, "It is not fair to take the children's food and throw it to the dogs." She said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table." Then Jesus answered her, "Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish." And her daughter was healed instantly.
