Good Work Never Ends

Good Work Never Ends Do we cram for a test, leave the packing for the last minute, or go to bed late without regard for being rested and refreshed for the day’s tasks ahead? Are we selfishly thinking only of ourselves or are we blatantly oblivious to those around us in need of attention, care or company? Jesus warns us to be ready for his return. We do know the hour or the day, therefore we must be ready. If Jesus came last month how would He have found you? If Jesus returned last night would you have been humanly and spiritually prepared? If Jesus chose this very moment would you be eager for Him to see you? Who then is His faithful? Blessed is you whom Jesus will find at work when He arrives." Good work never ends. Matthew 24:42-46 Jesus said to his disciples, "Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But understand this: if the owner of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour. Who then is the faithful and wise slave, whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give the other slaves their allowance of food at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master will find at work when he arrives."
